Monday, June 20

We decided to take a rest day at The Lochsa Lodge since we were able to get a cabin. We enjoyed three great meals at the lodge, walked along the river, made reservations for Missoula and met a few more interesting people. At lunch we met two young men from LA who were riding the Trans Am. They had a super light set up, were planning on no camping, and were hoping to get to Yorktown, VA by the end of July. Late in the afternoon we met an older gentleman from Iowa who was also riding the Trans Am solo, but he had started 45 days ago in Virginia and would end in Oregon. Clearly, these folks are far more energetic than we are!
