Today’s the big climb! It was 13.4 miles out of Lincoln to the Kancamagus Pass summit which we reached in 2 hours and 4 minutes!
We had a nice steady descent for most of the next 30 miles with the last few relatively flat with just a couple of hills in to Fryeburg, ME.
We were staying at the White Gables Inn, a 200 year old house, run by a nice young couple. The Inn sits on 14 mostly wooded acres.
We had a great dinner at the Fryeburg Kitchen & Market where it was German Night! I love my German food. Tonight’s fare was goulash and spaetzle for me!
